Ingredient List
- 1 box (17.8 oz) Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
- Water, vegetable oil and egg called for on brownie mix box
- 2 pretzel rods
- 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
- Green food coloring
- Decorating icing, decorating sprinkles and sugar
Preparation
- Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Line 9-inch square pan with foil; spray bottom and sides of foil with cooking spray. Make brownie batter as directed on box. Spread in pan. Bake 28 to 33 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour 30 minutes.
- Using foil to lift, remove from pan, and peel away foil. Place brownie on work surface. Use sharp knife to cut tree shape in brownie as shown in photo.
- Arrange remaining brownie pieces to form second tree as shown in photo. Arrange both brownie trees on a serving platter or board; insert pretzel rod in bottom of each brownie to form tree trunk.
- In medium bowl, stir frosting and food color until well combined. Spread or pipe frosting onto brownies. Use decorating icing, sprinkles and sugars to decorate brownies as desired using photo as a guide. Cut into pieces to serve. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
